Red Ribbon Gala
The 15th annual Red Ribbon Gala is on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Since our doors opened 19 years ago, we have welcomed hundreds of men, women, children and their families into the competent, caring arms of Tulsa CARES’ staff. They have been fed, clothed, housed, connected to medical care, helped with prescriptions, transportation and counseling. We have stood be their sides as they brought their children into this world; held them close as they dealt with the devastation of living in poverty with a horrible disease; and held their hands as they left this world. It is an honor and a privilege to provide care for those to whom we have been entrusted to serve.
We are committed to stay the course until we can put an end to the ravages of this disease. We are in hopes that you will join us again this year as we continue the battle against HIV disease in our community.
Tulsa CARES is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Preparations for the Party of the Year are in full swing and we’re hoping you’ll join us on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Southern Hills Country Club for Tulsa CARES’ 15th Annual Red Ribbon Gala.
The Redder The Better is the theme as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Tulsa CARES and pay special tribute to one of America’s most celebrated interior designers, Charles Faudree.
Tulsa’s own Charles Faudree has long been associated with giving back to our community. It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2012 Red Ribbon Gala will honor Charles for his many years of generous dedication to Tulsa CARES.
We are asking that all his dear friends and supporters join us as we celebrate Charles’ legacy as a true philanthropist and visionary leader. By becoming a patron sponsor of this event, your contributions not only support a great cause, but honor the years of selfless service that Charles Faudree has given so many.
For the past 15 years, our patrons have supported Tulsa CARES in record numbers through the Red Ribbon Gala. With your support we have held true to our mission of “delivering social services to people affected by HIV/AIDS” in northeast Oklahoma. Thank you!
Tulsa CARES is the only organization of its kind in northeast Oklahoma and has the longest history of any HIV/AIDS social service agency in Oklahoma. Our success in giving the most comprehensive and compassionate care to our neighbors with HIV/AIDS is because of caring people like you.
