Mental Health
Counseling services at Tulsa CARES are funded by the Ryan White CARE Act Part B and by Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA).
Counseling services are for clients who seek professional guidance by sharing information and receiving feedback. Clients bring a range of issues to counseling – from temporary stumbling blocks to long-term substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Our counselors are available to work with clients on either short-term or long-term basis.
Our mental health counselors are licensed professionals who provide individual, couple, family and group counseling to newly diagnosed clients, or clients who are new to dealing with HIV. Tulsa CARES mental health professionals deal with a wide array of issues including addictions, loss and grief and how to tell others about their positive status. Call Tulsa CARES and ask about our mental health services.
